This afternoon Big A and I were talking about his day. I was going through my standard list of questions... "How was school? What did you have for snack? What did you do at Grandma's?"
I came to the question of, "What did you have for lunch," and after a few seconds of him trying to remember what they'd had I asked, "Did you have pizza?"
Big A - "Yes! We had pizza!"
Me - "Oh good! So daddy realized there was pizza in there for you guys?"
Big A - "He didn't eat."
Me - "What? He didn't eat?"
Big A - "Yes, he didn't eat."
Me - "Daddy didn't eat?"
Big A - "I TOLD you! He did indeed!"
