Vacation.... And Life Changes...

Have you been missing me? I know, I know... A couple of months ago I promised to try harder. And I'm trying. But... I'll spare you the excuses.... Just know that I'll continue to try.

We just got back from vacation... 13 days in Tehachapi, Laughlin, Arizona and Los Angeles. It was AWESOME! We saw family, visited the Grand Canyon and Verde Canyon, and enjoyed time together. I really want to post pictures and do a trip log, but I don't have easy access to wifi and the connection I have is painfully slow. This makes blogging very difficult.

The problem compounds itself because I feel like I don't want to blog more until I get the trip blog done and since I can't do the trip blog I continue to procrastinate and before I know it a month has gone by. I feel like you're missing big chunks of our life. That sounds very conceited, but I suppose if you read my blog, it's because you're interested in my life. :)

Now you're probably wondering about the 'Life Changes' portion of the title... The problem is that while I want to share what's going on, I don't know how much I really want to share right now... Let's just say that we've been going through some pretty big life changes over the past three months that include a separation and a move. We are all doing the best we can under the circumstances, but would appreciate your continued love, support and prayers.

There's An App For That!

I'm smitten with appSmitten! There, I've said it! Yes, it's true. I HEART APPSMITTEN!

How often do you think about downloading a new app but have no idea what you really want? And how often are you surprised at the wide variety of apps that are available out there? For me, it's all the time and appSmitten is just what I need! There are over 1 million apps out there and finding the best ones is like finding a needle in a haystack so appSmitten is doing it for you. I signed up for their daily emails that feature one app a day. My inbox is not flooded with emails from appSmitten. When they say one email a day, they mean it.

Thanks to appSmitten I've downloaded Lep's World (a St. Patrick's Day game that is similar to Mario Brothers, 2 cameras, a level and a Disney app that has park/resort information for both Disneyland and Disney World. A few featured apps that I have NOT downloaded (although I *WAS* intrigued) were a garage sale tracker, a helpful household hints app and an app that allows you to make your own photo collages.

I'm constantly amazed at the variety of apps out there, and appSmitten really helps me narrow down my selections. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself! RUN! What are you waiting for??? You will NOT be disappointed.
