Beautiful Ballerina

Little A has been looking forward to turning three for MONTHS because she knew that when she did, she could start ballet. The time has finally arrived! For her birthday, Grandma and Grandpa got her a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, a tutu and a bag to carry it all. Here she is showing off her new digs and her fancy dance moves (Note to all... Don't take ballet lessons from Grandpa. He's good, but he doesn't QUITE have correct technique.).




Last Saturday Little A started dance classes at Rhythms Elite She was SO excited. Every day in the week leading up to that Saturday she would wake up and tell us she was going to ballet that day. We'd have to correct her, tell her she was going Saturday, and tell her how many sleeps were left until ballet started. Here she is on the way into her first class.


It turns out that they do both ballet and tap in her class. I can't wait to watch Little A blossom as a little ballerina. How much fun will that be?

Her first show will be June 12. Anyone want to come???
