Which Came First...

The chicken or the egg?

There is a family of chickens that lives in the bushes in the parking lot of a store near our house. Every time we drive by the kids yell, "CHICKENS," or "NO CHICKENS," depending on what we see. Today the chickens were there and the kids were very excited. I turned to Big A and said, "Big A, which came first? The chicken, or the egg?"

Big A - "The chicken. There had to be a chicken to lay the egg.

Me - "But then where did the chicken come from?"

Big A (Thinking for a second...) - "A farm!"

Me - "Okay, the chicken came from a farm. But where did the chicken COME from?"

Big A - "OH! GOD!"
