Hot Dogs Pizza, Baseball (Awards) and Apple Pie Frozen Yogurt

Tonight the kids had their baseball awards party at a local pizza parlor. Seven little boys and two little girls (plus a handful of siblings) running loose through the restaurant! That's the great thing about this particular restaurant... They're used to it, and they don't mind! Combine that with the fact that they have very reasonably priced food and great coupons, and it probably has quite a bit to do with why you can almost always find a sports team there on any given weekend!

The adults talked while the kids played and then the coaches passed out the awards. Each child received a certificate (which doubles as a coupon for a free child's steak at a local steakhouse) and a medal. My kids could care less about the certificate, but LOVE their medals!

They were SO excited! And do you know what the best part is? They can't wait to play again next year! This year was iffy since Big A had decided after his first year that he didn't want to play anymore but both kids had a FABULOUS time and they actually cried when we finished out last game!

So... For the time being we'll wait patiently for soccer to begin... But thanks for a great season, Coach!

(And in case you're wondering about the frozen yogurt part... Well... We MAY have gone to our favorite frozen yogurt shop AGAIN tonight. Because... You know... We weren't there last night or anything... And not Monday night, either!)
