The Truth Will Set You Free

ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH... A simple lesson that all parents teach their children and God's ninth commandment. Shouldn't be too difficult, right? A more difficult concept to grasp is that not saying anything (or not telling the WHOLE truth) is equivalent to lying. As parents we work hard to instill these lessons in our children, yet the world is filled with people who lie. You know what? It makes me sick!


We are surrounded by liars! In our jobs, in our every day lives, and even in our homes... WHY!?!? What's wrong with telling the truth? Yes, sometimes the truth hurts. Yes, sometimes the truth is hard to hear. But you know what? When you lie you look like a fool! And I'd much rather hear the truth, even if it hurts like hell!


When you lie, one lie leads to another and another and another and soon you're talking and you don't even know what you're saying anymore... And obviously you have NO CLUE how you come across to the person you're lying to.


I don't really have a great point here... And I don't really have a way to tie this all together... So I'll just close with this... DON'T BE AN IDIOT! TELL THE TRUTH!
